Germany: Unemployment Rate up to 6.9% in September

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Unemployment in Germany increased by 25.000 during September, following a 9.000 rise the previous month, the Bundesagentur für Arbeit informed today. Economists had forecast a 5.000 drop.

The unemployment rate rose to 6.9%, from 6.8% and against expectations of remaining unchanged.
