China's inflation to continue edging up in March - Capital Economics
FXStreet (Bali) - Chang Liu, Economist at Capital Economics, expects China's consumer price inflation to continue edging up in March.
Key Quotes
"We think consumer price inflation (02.30 BST) continued to edge up in March, driven by a pick-up in food price inflation. Nonetheless, we do not think inflation will have bottomed out yet. Low import prices for soybeans should keep pork prices on a downward trajectory, causing inflation to fall back again over the coming months, although it is likely to rebound during the second half of the year."
