Greece prepared to miss April 9th IMF payment

FXStreet (Bali) - The UK Telegraph is reporting that Greece is prepared to miss its April 9th IMF payment, a threat that has persisted throughout the week, as the debt-stricken country awaits a decision by its creditors to disburse a new tranche of funds.

According to the UK newspaper: "Greece no longer has enough money to pay the IMF €458m on April 9 and also to cover payments for salaries and social security on April 14, unless the Eurozone agrees to disburse the next tranche of its interim bail-out deal in time"

Japan Markit Services PMI declined to 48.4 in March from previous 48.5, contracting for the second straight month in March.
