Need to meet three criteria before returning to the markets for borrowing – Greek Fin Min Varoufakis
FXStreet (Mumbai) - Speaking to the media today, Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said that Greece plans to return to the financial markets once it succeeds in debt restructuring, investment and sustained primary budget surpluses.
Greek Fin Min noted, "For one to be able to return to the markets for borrowing you need to meet three criteria: primary surpluses, restructuring of debt and investments,"
"I'm speaking about debt swaps which will significantly reduce the debt," he added, while answering a question about Athens' plans to achieve debt restructuring.
